U.S. Kids Golf will have a Local Tour tournament at Meihan Chisan Country Club, Mei Prefecture, Japan. Boys and girls ages 4 to 15, will compete for individual honors. A players age on Nov 23, 2009 will determine their age group for the event. This is an excellent facility with 5 9-hole courses for a total of 45 holes to play on.

Location
The golf course is located in Mei Prefecture, Japan. By car it is about 1 hour 40 minutes from Osaka (Matsubara JCT) and about an hour from Nagoya.

The use of pull carts are permitted at this course. A special practice round fee is available for contestants, 9-holes at 2,000 yen. Must call ahead and confirm with the course. Parents must walk with your child. Parents may play during the practice round at regular fee.

By Car
Take the Higashi-Meihan Expressway to Shimo-Tsuge Exit #9, about 52 kilometers from Tennri IC (Osaka), about an hour from Nagoya. From Osaka after exiting at exit #9, turn left at the stop sign and follow the road straight about 3 kilometers to the Meihan Chisan Country Club sign, turn left onto the course access road. The clubhouse and parking area are at the end of the road. Drop bags at the clubhouse entrance (staff will assist), then park your car. Parking lot fills quickly and may need to park at the lower lot.

By Rail
About 1 hour 50 minutes from Osaka or Nagoya to Shindo Station on the JR Kansai Line. From Shindo Station about a 15 minute taxi ride to the course.

Cancelation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email or fax and receipt acknowledged by U.S. Kids Golf Japan at least 7 days before the event. The entry fee is not returned but applied to the entry fee for next event the contestant registers for. Cancellation requests 6 days before the event will be subject to a 5000 Japanese yen cancelation fee and the remainder is applied to the entry fee for next event the contestant registers for.

To cancel an event please provide the following information;

1. Contestant name
2. Contestant age
3. Contestant gender
4. Name or location of the event and date
5. Reason for cancellation
6. Name, phone number, and email of person to contact

If you cancel on the day of the event, be sure to call the course to avoid being listed as "No Show" (NS). Contestants that are noted "NS" may not be allowed to register for future events.
